Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Before We Do ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Before We Do is a couples compatibility assessment. Each partner independently answers 149 questions across 7 dimensions of compatibility. Once both partners complete the assessment and payment is made, a personalized compatibility report is generated.

The assessment is free to take. Payment of a one-time fee ($29 at the time of writing) is required to unlock the full compatibility report.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Before We Do. By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are capable of forming a binding agreement
• You will provide accurate and truthful information

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Each person may hold one account. Each account may be linked to one partner at a time through our invitation system.

By inviting a partner to take the assessment, you confirm that you have their consent to share their email address with us for the purpose of sending the invitation. You may not invite someone without their knowledge or consent.

Both partners must independently and voluntarily complete the assessment. The compatibility report is shared between both linked partners.

The assessment is free to take. A one-time payment is required to unlock the compatibility report. Either partner may make the payment on behalf of the couple.

• Prices are listed in USD and include all applicable fees
• Payment grants lifetime access to your compatibility report
• Refund requests may be made within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at support@beforewedo.us

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Share your account credentials with others

All content, design, text, algorithms, scoring methodologies, and report templates are owned by Before We Do and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

You retain ownership of the personal information and assessment responses you provide. Your compatibility report is licensed to you and your linked partner for personal, non-commercial use.

Before We Do is an educational and informational tool. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or relationship advice.

• Compatibility scores and insights are based on self-reported responses and research-backed frameworks, but are not predictive or diagnostic
• The Service does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice
• Results should be used as a starting point for conversation, not as definitive conclusions about your relationship
• We recommend discussing your results together and seeking professional guidance if needed

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Before We Do and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
